The louvers in the hood of the Bugatti boat tail speedster are not there just for looks. The luevers are there to help dissipate heat from the engine compartment under heavy racing conditions. The hood tie down is the leather belt you see running across the hood.

This car has the old school pin stripes like you would have seen in 50s also check out the emblem on the front of the hood.
